We offer MF Members a unique opportunity to meet current or upcoming museum artists for a morning of coffee and conversation. Join us for the fresh face-to-face opportunity to ask an artist anything!


May 26, 2018: Mbovu Malinga
Mbovu Malinga is a performing artist, specializing in theater and dance, as well as a community activist who works with children in Cape Town and the surrounding rural areas. Mbovu joins us from South Africa for our upcoming exhibition Civil Rights and Civil Wrongs.


June 2, 2018: Alisha Wormsley
Alisha Wormsley uses photography, video, and sculpture to examine collective memories, the synchronicity of time, and racial identity and history. This Pittsburgh-based artist is also a part of Civil Rights and Civil Wrongs.


July 14, 2018: Tavia La Follette
Tavia La Follette, PhD, teaches in an innovative MFA program cultivating self-generative artists via interdisciplinary and process-oriented work. La Follette is also a director, designer, puppeteer, performer and the curator of Civil Rights and Civil Wrongs.
